I met Amber Bettinger and her boyfriend Kirby McCoy in the fall of 2013. Emily, Laura and I saw them at the gym frequently and ran into them in Joe's Valley a few times. After time, we all started to talk and our friendship has blossomed into more than I could have ever imagined. She understands my passion for climbing and is ALWAYS there whenever I need to talk. It feels like I have known her a lot longer than I really have because our connection is so strong.
When Amber told me that Kirby FINALLY asked her to marry him, I was SO excited for her! She is one of the sweetest people I know and I truly feel like she deserves all the happiness in the world. I feel like we were brought together for a reason and I am so honored to know her during this special time in her life. I can not wait to see what the future holds for their marriage and for our friendship.
Traci is Amber's Best friend. Amber introduced us awhile back and she is beautiful, kind, and super crafty! She was nice enough to invite me to Amber's bridal shower. She even arranged for Amber's mom to fly in and surprise her! The shower was put together so well. It really made me realize how many wonderful women there are in this world and how important their presence is in my life.
Amber is getting married in the Dominican Republic so I can't attend the wedding. However, I know when the day comes I will be teary all day thinking about my two wonderful friends being united. She is going to be the most beautiful bride. Some people just come into your life right when you least expect it, but need it most. I know it was meant to be because I can not imagine my life without her now. I am so lucky to have such wonderful people constantly surrounding me.
